DISCLOSURES

We ask for floors and furniture to be free of large debris that could damage equipment (toys, metal, glass, excess debris etc.). We offer Deep Clean Floor and Furniture Vacuum/Prep but should be notified before hand if needed. We vacuum before each project.

Areas should be cleared of furniture to desired space wanted shampooed and extracted. Gem Mint Floor Care can assist with movement of furniture but must be notified before hand of what is being moved if needed for particular project. any large items that require more than one person or over 50 lbs. may require additional fees if moved by Gem Mint Floor Care.

Gem Mint Floor Care must be notified before hand if no water or electricity source is available at project site. both are needed to operate equipment.

Floor Sanitation Routines

Floor Polishing & Finishing Seals

  • Wood, Concrete, Stone, Marble, Tile, VCT and anything we can make shine.

  • Each process is unique for each surface. We have Experience in each area and will discuss with customer for their specific situation.

  • Specific to type of seal being used. Varies on product being used but 35min 2 hours between coats. Most commercial larger areas such as gyms have recommended dry time of 24-48hrs to cure complete rock hard before major traffic. Residential and business sealants usually take 30min to a few hours to dry and 12-24hr to get solid seal/cure.

  • We have seals and finishes for surfaces that are Flat, Semi-Gloss, Glossy, Super Glossy for Customers Desired end effect. Will be discussed before start of projects to get customer desired outcome.

  • Absolutely protects surfaces and keeps a water resistant barrier

Carpet & Upholstery

  • Usually 45Min-1hr depending on size of project being serviced. We let you know before we start.

  • No Carpets are left with minimal water use and no more wet than if you misted a hair spray bottle. Usually takes 2-6hrs to dry complete with fans and proper air flow

  • We will give honest opinion if Stain will come out or not. Some stains are permanent and can only be lightened/ blended.

  • Yes we use Eco-Friendly cleaners and safe with pet. We use state of art equipment and heated water technology to minimalize chemical use.

  • Customer should clear area space to desired position. Gem Mint must be notified before hand if Furniture needs to be moved or repositioned if over 50lbs. May be additional fee if larger furniture move is needed to complete project.
